Sports Festival
Our November 2009 Sports Festival
This year, our sports festival was held in November.
Everyone had a lot of fun practicing to get ready for the day.
It was held in the Namba prefectural Gymnasium, just like last year.
They marched in, took the athlete's oath, and got warmed up. The sound of enthusiastic singing filled the gym.
The one and two year old classes started out with a race with their moms and dads. There was a little more pressure than they normally had to face, but they shared the experience with their parents.
Pull, the card, and watch the animal move. With a little help from dad, it's a breeze!
We held classic events like tug-of-war, three-legged racing, and obstacle courses.
Lots of parents came to join in the fun...don't be left out!
There were also games for siblings.
At last! After all that hard work...a gold medal!
Whether it was for their parents or their brothers and sisters, the children were always happy to cheer. The biggest event was the 3-5 year old children's relays, which got the entire audience on their feet clapping and cheering them on. The parent's relay, of course, was also taken very seriously...nobody wanted to lose! The kids had so much fun today that, even when they got home, they were too excited to take a nap. Everyone is looking forward to next year's sports festival!

We strive to foster the children's development through healthy and balanced meals.
We believe that children should understand the cycle of life which allows them to grow, and we strive to teach them about responsible eating habits, so that they will understand that when they hear that they should finish their plate, they will realize that wasting food is wasting life.
